The views are fantastic, The hike is reasonably easy (only about a half mile each way; some climb, but not much). It can be hot, but there is some shade. Very little close parking, so you may have to park up the street and walk

We hiked to the canyon overlook in the morning since parking is very very limited. Good hike with some interesting cliff walking. Hot, so go early. No guard rails so much fun though. We saw little kids there.

If you couldn't make it to Angels Landing, don't worry. This place is an easy 1-1.5 mile hike and you almost get a view similar to Angels Landing.

Go early to see the sun rise on the West Temple and the canyon floor. A great short, easy hike to start the day. Go early to get one of only about a dozen parking spaces.

We stopped here to get a view of sunrise as it illuminates the canyon walls. This overlook, however, also provide our kids with rock scrambling opportunity and a visit by a group of big Horn sheep.

Many reviewers have stated that this is an easy hike, but be aware that it will not be easy for everyone! In addition to a significant elevation rise, the majority of the trail is rocky and uneven, and includes several narrow ledges with drop offs...More

We did this hike with three children (ages 8-12) and everyone enjoyed it. The hike was relatively easy (even in the heat) but there were definitely some areas where the trail was a little more narrow than I would have liked with with the kids....More

We loved loved this hike! We did it on our way out of Zion NP. The parking area is just after the tunnel. Few spaces so earlier you come here, the better. The trail is lovely and has a mix of stairs, flat terrain, rocky...More

Easy to moderate20-30 minute hike with stairs and a few narrow portions. Safe for kids. It leads to an amazing view over the park. Finding a spot for parking can be tough but patience will be rewarded with a great hike.

I think you can (but check with nps website) as shuttle's only cover the area north of that turning. Be warned parking at the overlook trail is very limited so get there early.

Anyone can hike the trail, but no cars are allowed inside the canyon you must take the shuttle. Youre free to go hit the sunrise hike
