In fact, you look down onto Angel's Landing. Fairly steep trail leading up to the point. Well worth the effort to make it up here. Great place to see the canyon views if you don't want to hike up Angel's Landing (which you should all...More

We really enjoyed the day here. The hike starts out in the shade which is nice. The crowds of National Parks are a well-known fact. We showed up at 8:00 AM and still waited nearly an hour just to get on the bus transportation which...More

Beautiful hike but such a workout. After going up what seems like endless switch backs, the hike levels out for a bit so your legs get a break. It’s not too long before you’re back doing the switchbacks. But the scenery is great and the...More

Go early so you’re not hiking uphill in the sun. My 9 and 7 year old did great - some snow and ice in spots, but we did ok. Echo Canyon is so cool - the view on the way up this trail is better...More

This hike is strenuous. Any reviewer who writes otherwise must have it mistaken for another trail. The initial, steep switchbacks set the tone for the entire hike. The scenery and views change along the way as the trail goes around the back side of the...More

Yewoza, what a trail! Loved it! Some sections are in a bit of disrepair, but that's entirely forgivable. There are numerous areas where one can stop off the trail to have some water and a snack, and the trail is wide enough to not make...More

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, this is a strenuous hike, just like the park's hiking guide says. It is about 3 1/2 miles straight up, with a brief flat section through a gorgeous slot canyon about halfway up. The trail gets very steep about...More

Went for day trip from las vegas, 8 mile hike up and back. The views were spectacular, Jan was a great time to hike, not crowded and we were able to drive to the trailhead

I think what you see is very similar. From observation point you are higher and looking right at Angels landing. So, from Angels Landing you have an unobstructed view to the south and you are on a pinnacle so that's a big... More

At the shuttle drop off...hike a bit and you can turn to go to weeping rock, or continue to observation point.
