This is our favourite hike in Zion, even better than Angel's Landing or the Narrows - and that is very high praise! It is undeniably hard work - but should be possible for most people (I'm in my 40s, and weigh more than I should!)....More

Observation Point offers the absolute best view in the park, it even looks down on Angel's Landing. You can get a birds eye view of the entire canyon and all the way into town. It's a long, fairly challenging hike with a wide variety of...More

The hike up is 95% switchbacks...never...ending...switchbacks. And starting my hike at 1pm in the sun wasn't the greatest. But the view at the end is worth it. I hiked solo and go at a fairly quick pace. It took me 1 hour and 40 minutes...More

The hike itself is pretty long and strenuous, however it was my favorite hike that I've done in Zion. The view from the top is breathtaking! Along the way we also got to see some big horn sheep.

GORGEOUS. As at all national parks, we're glad to carry water, sunblock, snacks & rollup broad-brim hats.

This was an incredibly strenuous hike going straight up a mountain with very few areas that are level. Be prepared with LOTS of water. The views are worth this 5-6 hour hike. Going back down is a little intimidating due to going straight down a...More

Hikes up to Observation Point with my wife and three grown children. It is a Stair Master Challenge. 3 hours of mostly uphill switchbacks wit incredible views, and a beautiful view at the end. Bring a hiking pole, water bladder, hat, and salt tablets. Start...More

Worth the hike. It was long with a lot of switch backs but the views were awesome at the top. You also get to go through a canyon which was so cool. Lots of chipmunks at the top so make sure you don't have food...More

I might be slightly wrong about beaver and cedar, now that I look at the map, but from Twin Knolls there are a lot of signs.
