This is the best hike I have ever done in the national Park. That being said we decided at any point when we felt we had had enough that we would turn around and head back down. Knowing it was a challenging trip especially for...More

I am not great with heights so I knew this would be a challenge but what a sense of accomplishment afterwards. Everyone in our large group from their teens to their fifties felt the same way upon ending the hike. The views are fantastic and...More

This was my second time on top of Angel's Landing, it is incredible. Definitely a must do while in Zion. The views are amazing, though heed to the warnings! - Bring at least 4 litters of water per person. I had 4 litters, which I...More

This hike can be a little strenuous because it's straight up switch backs the whole way but it's beautiful. If you're afraid of heights this is not the hike for you. We took lunch to the top and ate picnic style. I was disappointed in...More

We bought a 7x10 picture ($16.00) of Angels Landing switchbacks at Canyon Offerings, 933 Zion Park Blvd., Springdale after we did the hike with our 12 year old. After the first set of chains we discussed if we should continue. We only saw one other...More

It's a strenuous steep climb to get to the threshold of Angel's Landing, although it is paved and well maintained. If you aren't in good cardiovascular shape, be prepared for frequent rests. I made it up in about 75 minutes, but I couldn't do the...More
