Take this trail all the way to Pear Lake for fabulous views. Be sure and take the Watchman route. We hiked 89 miles in Sequoia and Kings Canyon. This trail ranks among the best!

It's a bit long, 12 miles, but not difficult. You go through a beautiful forest, and then you're out in the open with wonderful Sierra views, lakes, flowers, granite galore.
