The entry point of the road to Panoramic Point is a bit tricky to find. We knew it was opposite Grant Grove but there didn't seem to be a sign for it so took us a couple of passes before figuring it out. To get...More

A ranger at the visitor center recommended this point and the trail heading toward the fire lookout (you can visit if it's staffed by volunteers). Lovely trail along the ridge.

Narrow road was not fun to drive but it was worth it! Nothing short of breath taking! You will be glad you went up the road.

Panorama Point can be reached by a short drive and brief walk. It has a handicapped accessible trail as well as a regular trail. The view from the top is awesome, especially early and late in the day.

The twisty drive to the top leads to a small 10 person opening to get a view from the top. Not worth the time.

When you get to this viewpoint along the highway, take the time out for the views. They are magnificent!
