Despite the reviews of it being a challenge, we (60 year olds) marched upwards. Plenty of turnout spots to pace yourself. Only need a camera and a bottle of water. At the top you can walk out to an amazing view!

Sorry I went last October. I good weather about a 1 hour hike up like climbing steep stairs but very scenic !

I'd definitely expect snow during that time, and wouldn't chance climbing up Moro Rock if there's any snow or ice present on the stairway. That said, winter scenes in both Sequoia and King's Canyon are amazing, it's worth... More
