Well worth the drive. Part of the road in the park was under construction but was still worth the 20 or so minute delay

Easy lay-bys all the way along the route for pics, information and wonderful views. Well worth it - at the end there are some easy and delightful trails, which includes a beautiful meadow over seen by rocky sentinels - very dramatic. The you have the...More

Lots to see along this scenic highway. There are waterfalls, such as Grizzly bear picnic area that are right near the road. The Roaring River Falls is a short walk on paved trail. Nice waterfall even in October. Take your time and stop at the...More

The drive to the end of cedar grove is not a loop. It is about 40kms one way, very windy and twisty but the views of the mountains and canyons are lovely. Don't go if you don't have time as the drive does take up...More

We took it slow and were awestruck by the spectacular scenery at every turn. Love it so much that we did the drive more than once. Too many places to stop and just take in the amazing sights. It is a very windy road with...More

This is a wonderful drive with plenty of scenic pull over areas to take in the spectacular views. When you finally reach the bottom of the canyon you are rewarded with waterfalls and beautiful hiking areas.

Definately a beautiful drive in a wilderness area. The drive offers long range views of the canyon, a drive down the south fork of the Kings river, and spectacular warerfalls and forests. What's not to like? As good a drive as any in the 50...More

If you don't like winding twisty roads skip this but you do not know what you'll miss. One of the easy ways to see some spectacular mountain scenery amongst huge trees. Take your time and enjoy it.

I believe it is hwy 180 too. I'm not sure exact mileage, it took us about 2 1/2 hours in good weather to travel through the highway, but note we did make some stops along the way. If you are going to make the effort to... More
