Wild Basin offers a ton of hiking options varying in length and difficulty. Streams follow most routes and there are waterfalls without the first few miles on some as well. Going a bit further (and higher) offers multiple alpine lake destinations. For experienced hikers and...More

Just like the previous reviewer, we parked in the first lot we saw. The map at that lot makes it seem like you are at the trail head. We walked down a dirt road for at least 1.5 miles until we reached the trail head....More

We've been here years ago and loved it so we brought a friend to walk this trail again. We never guessed that the trailhead could close due to No Parking Spaces. We were turned away at the booth by a Ranger who appears to be...More

I wanted to write this post especially to warn newbies to the Ouzel Falls trail area to make sure to get to the trailhead. Dummies us, we got up super early (for us, anyway) to make the parking lot by 7:30 am to ensure a...More

This is not the best hike I've ever been on, nor are they the best falls. However, I have given it 5 stars because it really does cater for everybody of all fitness levels. If you park at the main car park, its a 0.3mile...More
