This is just a great way to see the park. There is a lot of great scenery with great places to pull off. You will not be disappointed in the drive.

Driving up this road is kinda insane. You get up over 2 miles in less than 30 minutes. If you ever are in Denver you have no excuse to miss it.
Definitely one of the more scenic drives you can do in the US. Not a ton of twists and turns so it's a nice leisurely drive with beautiful mountains and some occasional wildlife on the way
if you get within a hundred miles, this is not to be missed. from granby to estes park this road gets you as high up as any, into the ice. this is a(nother) spectacular ride. it feels as if it goes even higher up than...More
Spectacular! This 48-mile two-lane highway from the junction of Highways 34 and 36, west of Estes Park, to Grand Lake is one of the most scenic mountain highways in the US. It is not to be missed. There are lots of pullouts for taking photos...More

I visited last summer and would get up every morning and ride up TRR from Estes Park. It's a lot of climbing, but absolutely worth it. The views, the wildlife - really amazing. You just keep pedaling because you NEED to see what's around the...More
I have been over Trail Ridge many times, The ultra high elevation mean it is closed due to snow for winter months. Plan to do this route at least once, it won't be your last.
The road offers wide open vistas with great sights in all directions yet you'll feel safe on the road. Very enjoyable drive from the Denver metro area or the Ft. Collins-Loveland area.
