The waterfall is away from the main part of the park but worth the drive. Watch carefully for the turn off to the Wild Basin area. The hike is mostly flat and offers a small but beautiful waterfall.

This was our last stop before heading out of the Rocky Mountain National Park area. My husband and I and two teenagers really enjoyed the scenery/nature along the short hike to the falls. The falls were beautiful and it was so enjoyable to walk on...More

Hiked with a two year old on our back in August. Easy hike but we didn't get to the park until 9:30am and we had to park a mile back from the trailhead. By the time we left around 11 the entrance was closed as...More

Copeland Fall is pretty and easy to get to. Keep on hiking to the cascades and Ouzel because they are stunning! One of the best times to go is in May because the snow has started to melt and creates some very strong falls.

Nice easy hike along river with a couple of waterfalls. It just gets better the farther in you hike. Easy hike for families. Walk along and check out the trees, flowers and water. Lots of places to stop and explore the water. If you hike...More

This is a relatively easy hike for most people - we saw a few families with young children. The trail is rarely very far from a small river, with several waterfalls of varying sizes along the way. We were there during early August and everything...More

After a previous day of hiking already, we planned on just seeing Copeland Falls before leaving RMNP. When we got there, we decided to keep walking to Calypso Cascades also. The hike to Copeland is very flat for being in the mountains, and very short-...More

I highly recommend this hike. It is perfect because you get a great view of nature up close and it doesn't require a tremendous hike. Ouzel Falls is one of the coolest things I have ever seen in a forest.
