Start from behind the Crystal Mountain Chapel. Go Up, Go up some more, you see a mine shaft, bridges, waterfalls, Henskin Lake (which was my favorite.) The trail keeps climbing, the view is great as you go along. Stay on the Crystal Mountain trail and...More

Not cheap at about $20 US Dollars, but worth it. We are from Australia, and hubby had never seen snow. We were lucky to go up Mt Hood in a chair lift and he stepped onto the snow. I had researched before we left home...More

And what a view for about $20 per person. Mt Rainier is an incredible sight from the ridge at the top of the slopes, but it is an incredible sight from plenty of other places too. Lunch/dinner is available. A short walk is available too....More

While visiting Mt Rainer, plan to stop off here in-between when you move between the Sunrise and Paradise areas. The gondola up the mountain is fun - roughly $20 bucks a person isn't cheap. But the view of Mt Rainer and the distance views of...More

This is not the closest ski area to Seattle but it by far the best! There is a good mix of beginning, intermediate, and expert terrain. The bottom to top Gondola that was put in several years ago really enhanced an already good experience. If...More
