I think they offer pick ups at the hotels. We drove there because we stayed upcountry at a nearby residence. Suggest you give them a call to confirm times, etc.

No, that's not crazy at all. But with the gas and time, it might make sense to uprade to the deluxe. (I don't know the price difference.)
