We were provided instructions, map and safety tips. We decided it was not a race so we took our time, stopped and enjoyed the views (amazing!) and made sure everyone was ok before we proceeded. It was a true experience and now I can cross off the bucket list. I would recommend this bike company. All equipment was in good... More

My husband and I wanted to see the sunrise on Haleakala and figured we'd add a little adventure to the mix. Be prepared for a very early wake up and a bit of waiting prior to sunrise. It is well worth it for the perfect spot at sunrise. There are no meals or snacks provided, so be sure to bring... More

The whole trip was a delight. We were kitted out with wet weather gear, (which we didn't need luckily) backpacks and helmets before getting into the minibus for the ascent. Komo, our driver told loads of cheesy jokes on the way up the mountain. We had great photo opportunities at the crater and then part way down, we stopped for... More

We can mark this off our bucket list as a great adventure in touring the volcano and taking in the breathtaking views. We had an awesome driver & guide who shared a lot of interesting facts about plants, animals, the volcano and the history of Maui on our drive up the mountain. He stressed safety numerous times before letting us... More

We did the sunrise on the crater and the bike ride down. They were thoughtful enough to get us there early enough to get a good spot to view the crater at sunrise. (Bring lots of clothes) gloves and hats. We cannot say enough about Bill, the tour guide he is great. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, safety conscious and... More

See the sunrise on Haleakala and then ride a self-guided tour down the mountain. Definitely worth getting up at zero-dawn-thirty! You'd be hard-pressed to do anything as exhilarating as flying down Haleakala (look Ma, no peddling!). And watching the sun rise is akin to a spiritual activity.

Enjoyed the day even after having to wake up early (1:30PM) coming from Wailea area in Maui to the Haleakala Bike company starting there with approximately 32 other joyful persons traveling up to the Haleakala Crater and bicycling back down afterwards! Our Tour guide (Cody & Austin) were fantastic and couldn't do enough in making us happen! This was the... More

Great adventure! Was worried about using up a good portion of a fay for one tour but it was all well worth it. We had to leave our condo in Kehei at 2 AM to make it to the shop for 3 AM check-in, we got suited up, sized for helmets and bikes and then it was off on about... More

Was in Maui for a week, did the Express ride. I purposely did not lock myself into a date before I left, and glad I did so. The first four days of the trip were extremely windy and cloudy towards the summit. The day I decided to go was perfect - no wind or clouds, and needed nothing more than... More
