Bike down Haleakala, Maui's largest Volcano. Enjoy a tour of Haleakala National Park and a trip up to the summit at 10,000feet above sea level. Admire views of the Crater, and bicoastal views of Maui. Experience a 23 mile bike ride downhill at your own pace. No guided convoy to rush you down, no big group to hold you back. You are free to come down at your own comfortable rate.

Did the sunrise tour with my 2 college age kids (who are novice bike riders), January 8, 2018, and it was excellent. My wife rode in the van and had a good time as well. Got picked up at our hotel in Kaanapali at 1:45am...More

I'd like to split this review in two parts...I highly recommend the sunrise tour but would be really cautious about the bike ride. 1. Sunrise tour...this company is great and the sunrise is beautiful. They give very accurate directions on where/when to meet. It seems...More

Was the most fun activity the three of us experienced on our recent visit to Maui. No pick up service on our side of the island. Had to leave Kaanapali Beach hotel at 1:45AM. Easy drive to the bike store; no one on the road...More

Pros: - See the sunrise over a volcano. - Ride down the volcano on top of the line bikes. - Bike Maui provides you with transportation up the mountain (very friendly guides) and all the gear that you need to ride down (rain jackets/pants, gloves,...More

I rode a two-wheeled vehicle down an active volcano. The road was as smooth as a race track. What more could a person want? The staff was excellent, vibrant, and knowledgeable. The buses were brand new. The bikes were even newer. If you're contemplating this...More

Yes, 3am meetup is a little overwhelming. Book the tour for the first morning you are in Hawaii so the time change doesn't affect you as much. This is certainly a must do event in Maui. We were there for our babymoon- 6 months pregnant...More

Had a great time on this ride. The sunrise over Haleakala is stunning, though they are not kidding about the cold. I believe I could have taken some thermals and would have been a bit more comfortable. Bikes are good quality, and since we'd had...More

I highly recommend this company for the quality of equipment, and their knowledgeable guides. I also recommend this tour because the type of people likely to choose this activity are fun, adventurous and active types.

Our party of 7 enjoyed an amazing sunrise with Haleakala Bike Co. The equipment we were provided with was new and exceptionally clean. Our guide Marlon provided the sleepy participants light humour and good advise throughout the activity. Up with the roosters at our accommodation,...More

I think they offer pick ups at the hotels. We drove there because we stayed upcountry at a nearby residence. Suggest you give them a call to confirm times, etc.

No, that's not crazy at all. But with the gas and time, it might make sense to uprade to the deluxe. (I don't know the price difference.)
