Moran point was named after two brother's, Peter and Thomas, whom were both painters. I can truly see why they chose this viewpoint...awesome!

This is one of the stops on the Desert Trail drive, and yet again offers amazing views of the Grand Canyon. Like everywhere it is extremely busy and parking is difficult, however well worth the views!

Beautiful sunset! We took a pink jeep sunset tour, and our tour guide took us back to Moran Point to view the sunset. Obviously I can't compare this sunset view to others, having only done the one, but it was spectacular from here.

This spot has the most colorful views of the Grand Canyon that I experienced. The sediment colors are varied and the light reflects off the rocks to provide beautiful views.

The 'Father' of the Grand Canyon - it was Thomas Moran's original colour paintings that helped make the Grand Canyon a National Park. The 'live' views as opposed to paintings did not disappoint. The fantastic vistas 'hit' Liz and me and I'm just sorry that...More
