This location is not too far from the Tower, but it still provides a different angle to see into the canyon. This was one of my favorite overlooks we experienced on our trip. The observation area is also just a few steps from the parking...More

.There are lots of places with great views and this is one and you can drive there. We had some weather so the sky was quite dramatic

We watched the sunset from Lipan Point. The views of the river at the bottom are excellent. To the right, the painted desert is off in the distance. The sunset was vibrant and the photos cannot do it justice.

We asked around and this point was suggested for a sunset. It was very pretty! Make sure you stick around after the sunset because the sky behind you is even more beautiful.

As we worked our way around we just couldn't believe the depth of the canyon. Shadows stretched for miles. Every point has it's own unique charm from the previous ones. So stop at them all. I was never disappointed. Stunning views.

We stopped here and every other viewpoint after entering the park from the east entrance. Great views and plenty of parking - i am sure it can be difficult in the busy season worth a stop

Moran Point, Lipan Point and Navajo Point give a similar but different view of the canyon. Be sure to stop at each and check it out.

Though the park was full, we were able to find our own private little spot to view sunset. Icy conditions in winter, so be careful

Sorry but I cannot answer this question. Not sure where these points are for certain.
Do you have to pay to visit this attraction, or is it free?
