We stopped here and every other viewpoint after entering the park from the east entrance. Great views and plenty of parking - i am sure it can be difficult in the busy season worth a stop

One of my favourite Points on the South Rim; seriously thought about coming back here for sunset as it was far enough away from both the Visitor center and Desert View, which would mean that you would avoid the crowds; the only reason we didn't come here for sunset was because it would have been a struggle to fit in... Moran Point, Lipan Point and Navajo Point give a similar but different view of the canyon. Be sure to stop at each and check it out.

Though the park was full, we were able to find our own private little spot to view sunset. Icy conditions in winter, so be careful

You cannot make a long walk there but the views are very beautiful. Especially during the sunset. I recommend to stop there.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!!! is about all I can say. We stopped a park ranger for another reason and she suggested we stop at this point. She DID NOT lead us astray. This is one of the most spectacular views in the canyon I think. Just Beautiful!!

When retuning to the visitor center from the Desert View Watchtower, be sure to make this stop. It is a great view of the canyon. And, if you are there during migration season, this is a good point to observe birds since this is the closest point to the north rim (8 miles) and hence in the path of migration.
