We rode bikes and visited buy FREE shuttle bus. very popular with the tourist crowds, do a tour and have personal guide to inform you of all the geology and background of the Canyon. Great spot for sunset view and when the crowds thin out its peaceful and serene.

Excellent place to watch the sunset. It's a little crowded but the views and changing light in the canyon can't be beat! Definitely a must!

Restroom unusable without a gas mask, but unfortunately the only one for miles. For a sunrise visit, hit Powell point instead.

Hopi Point is located on the westernmost shuttle route and provides great opportunities for views up and downs the Canyon. Also it's one of the premier sunrise/sunset locations. Totally beautiful!

We watched the sunset from a few different points and this one was beautiful. Full view of the canyon. Make sure you stay longer than actual sunset time to watch the colors backwash the sky. If you have a few clouds, even better!!

Best Feb spot for sunrises and sunsets, and we have been to a few of them. Get there 45 min. early to get the best vantage point. Best time to go is Nov to Feb when the crowds are down and you aren't restricted to shuttle use.

I think this point has the prettiest vista, if that's remotely possible, since the entire canyon Is gorgeous from any angle along the desert rim, but nonetheless, just a beautiful view here. it was cloudy both evenings I was there so missed out on a sunset perspective, but didn't matter, definitely a very pretty stop!

Hopi point is west of the visitors center and it's on a red shuttle route. This route doesn't run during winter, so you need to drive yourself there. Find a parking and admire another phenomenal vistas of this nature wonder.
