This is the last point on Hermit' s rest shuttle. It's worth a stop only for restrooms, coffee or get a good seat to sit in the bus but not for views. Other points have better views than this one.

We wanted to see the canyon at sunset so took the shuttle to the west end. The gift shop had already closed (before 5pm) & the trees there block the canyon views. Lots of port o jons. Don't go this far to see a sunset.

It is the last stop of the red line. The stop has toilet s. It has gift shop too. Nice view here too

Hermit's Rest is the stopping point of a highly recommended route along the south rim. It's only accessible via the buses. But the views between Hermit's Rest and the village are the best from the rim.

More amazing views but this is the last shuttle stop before it heads back up. Small place to buy snacks and drinks

yes, it would be a good idea. The shuttle going back takes about 45 mins because the route has more stops on the way back. There are a lot of vista points along the way. You will have a good look at the Colorado River... More
