We arrived here at the end of our bike ride but you can walk here too (drive only in off season). It's quiet peaceful and has some lovely views, the kids had a great time investigating the area. Disappointedly the cafe was closed even though...More

We pictured this as more of a cafe/restaurant, so were surprised to see it was more of a tourist center gift shop. Nonetheless, we partook of the hot chocolate and cookies and did a bit of browsing. Washrooms are nearby. Good place to stop before...More

Traveled by car and it was spectacular. Love the nighttime privacy in many, many areas. Very romantic when the moon rises, it takes your breath away.

We went to Hermit's Rest for the last sunset of 2017, highly recommend going here and watching the sky in all of its glory as the sun moves below the canyon! Find a spot with a nice rock and just take it all in!

Caught shuttle bus out, had done a few walks and needed a rest and toilet stop before more walking back along the trails. Good services.

The West Rim drive is well organized with a free hop on / hop off bus that travels the route every 15 minutes. This is a MUST see and do trip which can easily be done in a few hours (depending on how many stops...More
