Inspiring Views of the Colorado River and the Vermillion Cliffs
The Navajo Bridge offers an inspiring view into the Canyon and looks down on the Colorado River as it passes under the bridge near the Vermillion Cliffs. We were able to also see and take some photos of some California Condors while visiting this interesting location. We'd like to visit again some day and spend more time thee. Pick your time wisely as the summer heat can get extreme.

    Beautiful scenery
Our GPS took us down a long scenic road, and we came upon this bridge by total accident. I'm so glad we did because the scenery here is breathtaking. It's free. You just park and walk out on the bridge and take some pictures. Be careful not to be out on the bridge during a lightning storm. It was raining slightly while we were there but thankfully no lightning.

    Breathtaking
Oh my stars! An absolute must visit. We drive an 8 and a half hour round trip and it was well worth it. Got to see the California Condors. Honestly a trip we will never forget.

A lovely spot on the Colorado River
Took a drive from Page to see the bridges over the Colorado River and was not disappointed. Free parking both sides, and there is toilets, info boards and a decent visitor info centre with gift shop. The views are amazing, with a good story on how the old and new bridges got built too. Best of all Californian Condors use the bridge to relax on, we saw one in flight and sat on the underside of the bridge. Well worth a visit IMO and hopefully the Condors will be nearby when you do.

When we pulled into the parking log and got out of the car we immediately saw six California Condors in the air just downstream from the bridge. When we walked out on the old bridge we were able to observe four more perched (one was playing with a piece of rope) under the bridges. This is a beautiful way to see the upper end of the Grand Canyon and the last place to drive cross the river until the Hoover Dam.

Nice place to get out and walk across the bridge to stretch your legs. There are restrooms and a gift shop also. There is no charge to walk across the historic bridge.

We stopped at Navajo Bridge enroute from our rafting trip down the Colorado River below the Glen Canyon Dam on our way to Bryce Canyon, all part of our Tauck "America's Canyonlands" trip.

It was worth the stop!

The building of both to footbridge and the highway bridge was a remarkable achievement. The views from the overlook by the Visitors Center, as well as along the bridge over the Colorado River are stunning, and easily accessed. California Condors nest among the bridges, and were easy to spot and photograph.

I'm not sure if I would recommend going far out of your way to visit this if you seen other Canyon sites, but it's certainly worth the visit if you're nearby. They have a very good Visitors Center and restroom facilities.

This was a cool stop. I liked the look of two bridges next to each other and it felt a little romantic. The history of it was cool too and I could see it being a cool spot to linger if we weren't in a crazy heat wave
