We thoroughly enjoyed Wildland Trekking’s 5 day tour of the Grand Canyon. We heeded the company’s suggestion to stay at the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ, site of the pre-trip meeting and the stepping off point. Arriving a few days early provided the bonus of good lodging, meals, and a place to hike and swim while acclimating to the... More

We have three boys ages 26, 24, and 13. The trip was strenuous and the scenery was beautiful! Our guides made it easy to manage the boys and their different abilities and interests on the trail. Food was tasty and healthy! A beautiful location that we wouldn't have been able to witness without Wildland Trekking!

Our Wildland Trekking guide, Kevin, got our family of 5, including 3 kids ages 8-12, down the south Kaibab trail almost to Skeleton Point and back out in one morning. We headed down into the canyon around 6:00 a.m. and were back at the top, approximately 5 miles later, around 10:30 a.m. He provided high quality back packs and walking... More

The 6-day inn-based hike to Bryce Canyon, North Rim Grand Canyon and Zion National Park was absolutely wonderful. Wildland Trekking is a top-notch organization. Our guide, Dakota, was professional, extremely knowledgeable and an all-around great guy! I had a blast on this trip and will definitely plan another trip with Wildland Trekking in the very near future! This was the... More

My 22 year old daughter and I had the most amazing experience with our guides Michael & Alex along with 10 other people who just happened to be a perfect fit together as a group! Children aged 16-25 with their active parents and a wonderful solo woman who had experienced a previous Wildland Tour. Michael and Alex were so informative,... More

What a wonderful trip! We choose the Inn Based trip due to the ability to see Both the North and South Rim. Our guides Kenton and Mikaela were excellent. There were 9 of us in our group. 6 of us came together but by the end of the week, we were a cohesive group. The knowledge of our guides helped... More

I had a wonderful scenic hiking experience with Dakota, Maryann (who was shadowing), and three other hikers. Dakota knows the whole Grand Canyon. He's a wealth of information about the history, the terrain, and the wildlife. He happily answered any questions we had. Both he and Maryann stayed in tune to our hiking needs and our pace, and that made... More

My husband and I hiked the Grandview Trail with Wildland Trekking's guide Moshe in May 2016. I cannot think of enough good things to say about his talents as a guide and Wildland Trekking as a guide company. We nerded out completely on geology, plants, and birds - it was wonderful. I was very nervous about this hike after reading... More

My husband and I took the Havasu Falls 3 day tour in early May for our anniversary and it was a wonderful trip! It was our first time doing anything like this and our first time to the Grand Canyon. The two guides were knowledgable, professional, fun and extremely helpful in making your trip enjoyable. The weather at that time... More

This was my first basecamp (or really camping of any kind) experience. I absolutely loved it! Our guides took such good care of us in every way. The food was quite good (and I was worried as I am quite a picky eater), and every day you were so hungry for it after the days activities that it tasted even... More
