Bright Angel Point is right near the lodge. The Trail is just to the left of the lodge as you face the lodge. Step into the Lodge, past the front desk, down the stairs, out of the big viewing room to the left and follow...More

Short walk from Grand Canyon Lodge that gets you much closer to Canyon for photos and views. One way in and out could get crowded at times.

A glorious location, with glorious views and a short but glorious trail to reach there. But, this visit (my 5th to the North Rim) there seem to be more visitors self-absorbed in shouting to others in their group, or pushing their way around people in...More

This hike was 0.5 mile roundtrip with a couple nice viewpoints along the way. It is near the visitor center and a must do while in the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Good footpaths, shops and eateries. But more important than anything else is the breath taking spectacular views of the canyon. Outstanding!!

NO really. Go to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is spectacular and far less hot and crowded. You own't regret it.

Very nice trail from the lodge. Gets you out over the canyon. Great place for sunset or any part of the day. Has some railing. But be careful not to climb the rocks.

Get a reasonably priced drink and snack or browse the gift shop. Watch out for the cheeky squirrel in the gift shop

Absolutely yes. Have done it often. Use 89 one way and 89a the other. Should allow you 3 hrs of time on the rim. Might snack at lodge at Bright Angel, get view and food to save time.
