Take time to enjoy the stops/lookout at the canyon. It is sad that we rush out of the car, take a view photos and away we go to the next point. We were not in a hurry this time and it was like seeing the...More

This is an easy walk for the non hikers with plenty of shaded areas to rest. We took some incredible photos at various spots along and off the trail. Met several tourists from outside the US who were excited to see the Grand Canyon.

Although busy during the day, by 4pm it was almost deserted. It was very easy to find a quiet place to sit with just a small number of other visitors and watch the sunset. We stayed in one of the cabins and were there two...More

One of those great views, you'll see it on your way along the Rim Trail. Check around, take photos. It's right by the village. You can get there by bus - blue line

This point is an excellent lookout and a good way to get an overview of the Bright Angle Trail. It is on the Rim trail so mostly a flat easy hike from the Bright Angel Lodge. To get an excellent view of the Bright Angel...More

One of many points to view the GC. They all seem better than the last and this is no exception. A great view.

Loved the camaraderie on this trail. Even if you are nervous of a heights, it is an absolute must do to complete a short hike. I marvelled at the pathway which had been built over time and the mules were astounding as they balanced at...More

Stayed at the North Rim back in May of 2003 and the snow and winter was so bad that most roads were not open because of falling trees. The only road open was to the main lodge. We are planning to be in Page, Az. and was wondering if we could travel to the north rim and visit a couple of these missed sites such as point imperial point and angel's point in one day and travel back to Page? Thanks, Chocobill

Absolutely yes. Have done it often. Use 89 one way and 89a the other. Should allow you 3 hrs of time on the rim. Might snack at lodge at Bright Angel, get view and food to save time.
