At the other end of the 'Y' to Cape Royal; don't miss Point Imperial thinking you've seen it all. You haven't - the views in this direction are completely different and just as awe inspiring. Well worth the detour.

This side road leads to Point Imperial, the highest overlook in the North Rim. From the large parking lot, a short walk takes you to an overlook offering expansive views of the canyon.

It is about a 2 mile drive to the point. Not the best views, but worth the trip if you are going to Cape Royal
