Word of mouth has that the more remote, harder to get to and therefore less crowded North Rim offers a more authentic Canyon experience and better views. However, there is no bus service on this rim and it is closed during the winter.

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is less visited than the South Rim. There was almost nobody there when we went in November. The views are as spectacular as what you would see at the South Rim, but in many spots, you get a wider angle view of the canyon. The North Rim is more rugged and harder to... More

Day hike of 12.5 hours from North Kaibab to Bright Angel, early August 2016. Having hiked in the Alps, the Karakoram, New Zealand and a few other places, yes, I can confirm this is one of THE hikes to do in a lifetime. One should not hike alone, not attempt to do the Rim to Rim at the height of... More

It was indeed an Amazing & Awesome visit to The Grand Canyon! Although it was very hot & sunny ,viewing all aspects of this Great Wonder was very interesting! The walking exercise from one point to another was well needed for me! I would definitely recommend this Tour !

I loved this place! The people are nice and the views are spectacular! The Canton is so beautiful in the winter and looks fake. I would recommend to bring tons of jackets in the winter time!

We were afraid of predicted rain putting a damper on our trip to the Grand Canyon, however it held off & we were able to see the most beautiful rainbow soar across what is already the most breath taking sight!

we follow to rim walk and we stop all along the way to take pictures. Incredible views. It was crazy to see people climbing over the pathways and standing so close to the edge .i wonder how many have been killed doing this.

We chose the North Rim because of the fact it is cooler (temperature) than the South Rim and there are fewer people. Although it was the height of the season there were certainly very few people around. And the views just made you gasp! Occasionally you would hear the sound of a helicopter and, eventually you would spot it, like... More

Breathtaking view. You also need to see the view from the other side (South Rim), worth the detour. For those who have the energy (or the motivation), the hike down to the bottom is absolutely amazing. You need to register (in advance!) to do it, pack lots of water (1 gallon per person). The night at the bottom is so... More

the North Rim has fewer people and you can drive all over the canyon roads till you run out of gas....... you might see Kaibab Squirrels, wild turkey and lots of deer. Aspens and meadows abound this beautiful area....so much better than the South Rim.... Too many people at the S Rim. Camping spots all over, lots of hiking. it's... More
