Spent time here staying at the Glacier Bay Lodge. Walking along the cove watched an otter just calmly swimming and diving, Bald Eagles perched in the trees, and Black Oystercatchers on the shore. It's the Alaska beauty you came to see!

The cove is very quiet, when the fog comes n its like post card picture with the anchored boats off n the distance.

When sailing Glacier Bay, this is the best spot to see whales spouting. This is also where the Park Ranger will likely board your ship. Be on the lookout!

We had a great time at Bartlett Cove! Leah, of Glacier Bay Kayaks, was really helpful and cool. She even gave us a ride from town to Glacier Bay, and took us to our previous campsite to retrieve a lost Leatherman tool along the way....More

Bartlett Cove serves as the starting and ending point for tours by the Sea Wolf, a 12-passenger converted WWII minesweeper with a crew of 5, captained by its owner, Kimber Owens.
