This was our last stop and we spent the most time here! The views were incredible. It was super windy when we got to this point but we still had a great time exploring here. We did one of the easier trails and it was...More

What is not to like – beautiful lake to tour on with sights so incredible you have to remind yourself that you are actually there, not just looking at pictures online. (And let me tell you, pictures cannot capture the beauty of this place!) I...More

St. Mary Lake was a great boat ride and ended with a nice hike to St. Mary Falls. Great pictures and scenery from the boat. We drove around the lake first, as it follows GTTS road, and then came back to catch the boat. The...More

Nice lake, driving by is sufficient. Lots of trees damaged by fire takes away from beauty. I hope fire was natural and not man made that caused the damage.

We went there in the morning from our hotel. While driving we saw quite a few mountain goats. Also, we didn't take the boat, but we did hike to trails. Overall, a really nice place!

The problem is that there are so many pretty spots, after a while you get overloaded on the beauty of it all. Lakes in Glacier are fine for boating, but swimming? Not at an average temperature of 50 degrees F.

St. Mary lake is probably the longest lake in the Glacier National Park with the upper and lower portions meeting at the entrance at by St. Mary. As one drives along the sun road, one enjoys the view of this peaceful lake set in front...More

We viewed the lake from above (road) and from the water (boat cruise) and were so amazed at the clarity and color of the Glacier fed water. The blue/green color is amazing! Photos don't do it justice, definitely a to do while at GNP!

Many Glacier is a very nice campground and we wish we had spent at least one night camping there. It is so close to the Grinnel Glacier hike and the Red Rock Falls hike which is beautiful. We saw 3 moose on this hike feeding... More
