The hike to this falls is mostly level with a well marked path. The falls itself isn't very large, about 35 feet I think but it's still a very nice falls. The water is amazingly clear. This is a very popular hike so there is usually several people on the trail.

The trail to the Falls is very easy and a great hike for children. If your a dare devil you might want to wear your swimsuit and dive off the large rock below the falls to the river below. It's a very popular hike so be prepared for lots of company.

This hike is lovely even though there has been a forest fire in the past here. All of the bushes in their many colors are quite lovely. St Mary Falls is quite nice but we liked the one which appears to be nameless that is just past St Mary's falls better. This Falls is NOT Virginia Falls. It is maybe... More

After an initial descent, the trail is fairly flat to the falls. It's not too long of a hike to get to St. Mary Falls and the views are pretty good. It's definitely worth continuing along this trail to get to Virginia Falls.

We took the easy hike to see the waterfall after the previous day of rain. The hike through the burnt out forest offers up some views of the surrounding area but it is pretty amazing with how much the ground cover has come back only a year after the fire. With all the rain the day before, the river was... More

A nice, short walk to the falls and definitely worth it. Not only are the views of the falls great, we walked up river a little and looking over from above was amazing. The trail goes through a forest that burned and even the trees with no leaves were beautiful - every turn on the trail was more beautiful than... More

The hike from the road to these falls is about 0.8 miles each way. It is mostly downhill to the falls, and the hike weaves through both forested areas and also some areas that experienced a forest fire in recent years. At the end of the hike is a bridge that allows for easy viewing of the falls. The trail... More

This is an easy trail and if you have the time, enjoy walking or hiking plus waterfalls, this needed to be on your list. We almost didn't get to do this falls, but glad we took the time. Bringing my husband here next year.

If you like rushing water and waterfalls you'll love this hike. There is plenty of beautiful scenery to see along the way with cascading water all the way to the falls. You reach St. Mary Falls first, it's a smaller falls than Virginia, keep going until you reach Virginia Falls. It is a tall waterfall and falls with a lot... More

Nice walk in the woods to the falls. These are smaller and more of a rushing rapids than long straight down water falls. Still, beautiful. You can feel the ground shake standing near them. Photo is of a stream on the trail.
