the rangers were helpful and shared some insights about different locations to explore in the park. Also good to stop as they have posting on trails that are closed and where they might have seen wildlife. There is also free internet access in the visitor...More

We used the Visitor Center as a jumping off spot for Red Bus tour. The parking lot fills up so best advice is to come early and do some walks in the area and check Apgar Village before taking the Red Bus, if that's your...More

You always need to stop at the visitor center when starting out at a park. The rangers are so knowledgeable. This particular center was on the small side. I thought the Canadian Center was a much nicer facility. Both had great rangers to give advise....More

There are a few displays, but rangers are there to answer questions. If you want to support the national park service, buy souvenirs in the small shop there. There are restrooms, informative signs outside, water bottle filling stations, and trails. There is plenty of parking.

We started at the visitor center on a Sunday. It was very crowded but worth waiting to talk to a ranger about the different trails and get a good info map. Clean restrooms Close to Apgar Village to rent bear spray.

Informative visitor center that gives an overview of the area. The bathrooms are clean. The parking was easy and you do not have to walk a mile to get there.

As always, the rangers operating the VC were great helpful friendly and informative. The outside displays were much better than the inside displays. For the size and scope of the west side of the Park, I guess i expected more from the VC. Bathrooms were...More
