Running Eagle Falls is a highlight of a trip to Two Medicine. In the spring water rushes over the upper fall so thick that the lower fall is completely hidden. Later in summer, as flows decrease, the water seems to change course and flow almost exclusively out of the lower fall. It's easy to see why this waterfall used to be named Trick Falls. This area holds great religious significance for local Blackfeet tribal members. The park is in the process of creating a nature trail here to highlight the cultural significance of this unique spot.

A short, easy trail hike to a beautiful waterfall. In the spring it is larger from the snow run off. There is a bridge you can use to cross the creek getting a closer view. But it was only halfway up when I went May 22. I assume it will be fully up by Memorial Day. It was warm the... More

The water comes from two places: over the top and through a hole. It is easily accessible. You don't want to miss the picture with Rising Wolf Mountain behind the falls.

This short easy trail is nice and the falls quite unique. However, we found ourselves disappointed when we finally got there. Its almost like a rocky grotto with a wadeable pool near the bottom at certain times later in the year. The majestic scenery that you see at the Two Medicine Lake is much better when you get there...a little... More

The story of Running Eagle was enough to get me to the trail. There were even toilets during this walk when I needed them. The end has a falls that looked better when the water was low. They call it trick falls and it looks like it is coming from the middle of the mountain.

At the time of year we visited, there was only the one runoff. It's a very easy and accessible hike, but if you weren't planning on spending time in East Glacier this shouldn't be the reason you come to the area.

This is a good short walk, especially for people with small children or for people who may not be able to get around all that easy. The hike is flat through a forest for a short distance until the trail opens up to the river bottom. It is interesting that the water comes out through the middle of the cliff... More

Have visited this Falls on many occasions, but have never seen the Falls with full water. It is very beautiful and peaceful. The walk is easy with a narrow bridge to walk over. The Falls is very photographic. Highly recommend.

This is an easy trail to walk and at the end of the trail is a beautiful waterfall! So very scenic and you can get the most beautiful photos from many different angles. I think Two Medicine Lake is so pretty and sometimes neglected by visitors to the Park.

This the last place we visited before we left Glacier. It is a short hike to the falls so most people should be able to see it. This is also called trick falls because, as it was when we were there, the water seems to come out of a hole under the top of the falls. I climbed up to... More

Nice little waterfall that is very easy to get to. Just a short walk thru the woods on a natural trail that is very level. If you have mobility issues and want to see a waterfall that is not roadside, this is a good choice. Only the lower part of the falls were running when we visited, but it is... More
