The "jammers" are vehicles from the 1930's. The drivers are experts in all things about the national park. They make frequent stops at scenic spots . Very fun way to to travel Road to the Sun. Reservations required.

We took the Huckleberry Bus tour so my husband's could enjoy some of the scenery and not have to drive. The bus is awesome and in great condition, but having the top down was pretty chilly. Our driver, Pete, is very knowledgeable and gives you...More

What a great tour. Douglas was the absolute best. He told stories from his childhood growing up here and stories passed down from his grandfather. His knowledge of the park was incredible. Even though I'm sure all drivers are great, I feel that we were...More

Limited trip if the fount to the sun road is not open. So don't do this if the road is closed or my recommendation because the cost isn't justified in that instance. You can see all you need without the tour in this case.

As I stated in the title, it is a great way to get an overview of the park in a day or less. The coolness of riding in such a historic vehicle is definitely a plus. The guides are highly trained and very knowledgable of...More

This is a must do at Glacier. The roundtrip on the Going to the Sun Road on the Red bus is a treat in most ways. You can enjoy one of most spectacular drives anywhere in the world without having to drive yourself. The views...More

Not only are the red buses a sexy, beautiful, bright red making them great photographic subjects to include in your own snapshots, but the tours you take in them, are a great way to learn about the park when you first arrive. You kick back...More

This was our second Red Bus Tour and we enjoyed it every bit as much. It wasn't quite as long because we were conveniently picked up at our St. Mary Hotel. The guide was most knowledgeable and could speak from personal experience since he and...More

Do not turn up your nose at this "bus tour." These buses are misnamed. They are a fleet of 1936 touring cars with convertible roofs of canvas, so you can stand up at stops to see the highest peaks and 360 degree views. There are...More

This was a great for us to see the park. The tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. After this tour, we went back the next day on our own to see a few places in more detail.

Go to Glacier National Park website and look for the link for the red bus tour booking. This site will not allow me to copy and paste their address but it is easy to do. You can book online. Have fun!

I am just beginning to plan our trip to Galcier Park area. We are staying in Columbia Falls September 15-22. The RedBus tour is a must as neither of us wants to drive Going to The Sun road. I plan to book tour late June, after a trip to Alaska, as that allows me to stretch travel budget. How early does this tour fill? Thanks, J HAll

We went in September of 2016 and booked our tour in June or July (can't remember which). Even though it's considered late in the season, the buses were mostly filled up.
