My family loved this short walking tour of the everglades. There is a ton of wildlife and both kids were able to get tons of close pics of gators and other assorted animals. I highly recommend.

This Center is a must stop because it includes the Anahinga & Gumbo Limbo Trails. Both easy walking trails with wildlife & interesting tress.

While the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center may be considered the park's main introduction, we found this to be as complete as we needed. Helpful rangers, nice displays, lots of information for experiencing the park.

Although we didn't see any vultures eating rubber off of cars we didn't want to take our chances so we used a tarp and bungee cords, provided free of cost, to cover our rental car. Others didn't use tarps and their cars seemed fine. The...More

The visitor center has good information about the Everglades. The trail is not as interesting as Anhinga.

Nearly everything in the Everglades is flat, so you're probably okay. Anhinga is the most popular, for sure.

Only by taxi, which would be pricey. Boat tours are available in Flamingo and Everglades City, which are both very far from Miami Beach. If you're thinking air boat, those aren't allowed in the park because they're loud and... More
