The boardwalk system provided easy access to the wildlife areas. The variety of wildlife was amazing and the educational resources were helpful to learn more of the area and its history. Bring your camera and take your time to observe quietly.

Stopped here when we visited the Anhinga Trail. Clean facility with gift shop. Staff was very informative.

Highly recommend to busy this visitor center before you head out to various trail or entrance. Everglades is huge, numerous entrance and stops, far away from each other. This visitor center has all the information you need to know to plan your visit.

Our family enjoyed this stop at the Royal Palm visitor center. The walking trails are full of flora and fauna of the Everglades. From alligators to birds, fish, Palm trees and gumbo limbo trees. A gift shop and restrooms are present, clean and well maintained.

Not much to this visitors center. Restrooms, quick access to 2 short trails and small gift shop was pretty much all there is.

This visitor center is one of the smaller ones in Everglades National Park. They have a few basic books and guides to the park. It is also the starting point for ranger lead walks of the Anhinga Trail.

The Royal Palm Visitor Center is nicely shaded and looked well organised with water and soda machines. Since the Anhinga trail was closed this week for trail renovation mid sept 2016 it was not in use.

I usually recommend the Royal Palm Visitor Center and Anhinga Trail be the second stop for anyone visiting Everglades National Park, just after the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center. In the past I have always found Anhinga Trail to have the richest and most abundant variety of wildlife. Unfortunately today to our shock we found out while walking past the... More
