Went through the Visitor Center after we went through the park on the bus tour, but our guide had prepared us well for the exhibits of life in Denali. The film, only about 20 minutes, was also excellent - much more of an "experience" with...More

Very nice visitors center...with nice display, gift shop and coffee shop. There is a nice 20 min film about Denali that is great..explains the park and vegetation, wildlife to enhance your understanding of the park. Well worth the time to see and it is free!

This is a "Must See" while in Denali Park. There very informed Rangers to help. Just ask most anything, someone there knows. Believe it or not, there is even a gift shop.

The visitors center at Denali Park is so well run. The staff is very knowledgeable, the bathrooms are clean and well stocked. There is food for purchase here, a bookstore on site, and it is literally steps away from the Alaskan Railroad depot.

What a lovely place! I went on a organized tour through Denali all the way up to Kantishna roadhouse. From the bus we saw a lot of animals, including 3 grizzly bears. It was a long day but worth every dollar!

Isn't this frustrating? Getting information on the McKinley Chalet is very difficult. Even the cruise line we booked our visit with could not tell us anything. I think you will get the most reliable info from the park... More
