Our guide, Bruce, was extremely knowledgeable and very well spoken. We saw bear, Caribou, hare, Dall sheep, and birds. This tour was wonderful!! The transportation is a modified school bus. It is pretty bumpy along the way and the seats are small. I would recommend...More

We are with a group of 12. We upgraded our historical tour to this option. It was a wise choice. The scenery was magnificent and we saw several caribou, 8 grizzly bears, moose and a fox. The tour guide was superb. The tv screens and...More

We visited on a beautiful day in early June, our bus driver was very knowledgeable. We saw grizzlies, caribou, porcupine, moose and Dall sheep. We even got to see Denali for the third day in a row!

Great tour. Not to short and not to long. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views. Just enough time at the stops for pictures. Our bus driver Lindy had great information and was good about stopping for wildlife pictures.

Our driver guide Jason, provided valuable natural history of the park, history of park protection and best of all, ensured we had the best wildlife viewing and panoramic views of Mt Denali. The buses now have roof top telescopes connected to inside monitors so passengers...More

We read many reviews, good and bad, about this tour and I guess were expecting more on the "uncomfortable", "long", "bring your own snacks" etc. side. We were fortunate enough to be the first people picked up so we snagged the front of the bus....More

This nine-hour trip is the only way allowed by the park service to drive sixty miles into Denali. The trip is offered only on modified school busses, replete with those awful wheel wells, jam packed to maximum occupancy. The tour itself is incredible. We saw...More

If you get an opportunity to take one of these tours, do so. The tour travels 62 miles into the park. There are longer tours. Our tour guide was fabulous, and he made numerous stops for pictures and to use the facilities. The buses are...More

I found this tour quite boring only in so far as the time spent on the bus with limited time off it. Scenery is lovely on the tundra and seeing wildlife can sometimes be pot luck, we saw plenty of caribous, but no bears or... More
