It's a long way into the park before you begin to see the mountain. Well worth it if you like nature. Diverse wildlife in addition to great geography. Just do it.

so huge and we got to see so little of it over the two days we were there. not for lack of trying -- its that big and don't expect to find established trails outside the first 15 miles into the park. you are definitely...More

For a real adventure, take the 14-hour Kantishna trip. This tour goes to the end of the road - mile 89 - and is not on as tight a schedule as the Wilderness tour. The tour stops at Kantishna Road House for lunch and a dog... More

The tundra tour goes over 50 miles into Denali. The other tour goes only about 20 miles. The chances of seeing animals like caribou, moose etc is greater on the tundra tour. However, you are on the bus for almost 8 hours... More
