No where in this drive will your eyes be bored. It's truly remarkable to see all the rock formations and nice to drive on a one way road.

This one-lane loop passing "Artist's Palette" has amazing eye-candy. The "Artist's Palette" area itself is worth a stop, but there are so many beautiful views of so many different things, it's impossible to give just one highlight. Note: this is a narrow, winding road -...More

Very picturesque one way drive through ravines and colorful rock formations. Road dips and curves with picture taking scenery. A must see!

Visited one day in mid Nov 2017. Have been once before 9 years ago, now back with b/f. Well laid out and maintained. One way road, 9 miles long, asphalt all the way. Stops along the way, some with toilets. Artists Palette is probably main...More

This one-way road is really great. The different colors in this scenery are beautiful. It's a pleasure to ride and you have some amazing views. A must do place in Death Valley

This road is one-way so you don't have to worry about on-coming traffic. It's also super clean and well maintained. Worth a visit just for the pleasure of sweeping through the turns.

The drive is paved, so it's an easy do for all. Watch the dips, though, and some quick s-type turns. Hiker can park anywhere off the roadway and explore more fully. There is one developed parking area where you can walk up an outcrop to...More

I'm not sure why this one-way road will be closing, it looked to be in great condition when I was there. I would say the bicycles would be ok but that really depends on what they are doing to the road going through Artist's... More
