Devil's Golf Course - Another Must See

There's something about this place that's really cool. The rocky, salty floor goes on forever, and you could walk out there and be alone, mesmerized by the jagged rocks that seem to go on forever. It's a quick drive away from Badwater. For me, this was one of my highlights in Death Valley.

As flat as Death Valley may look from the distance, Devil's Golf Course shows an entirely different picture. Photo enthusiasts must love it - plenty of subjects to pick from. But just standing there in complete solitude is very appealing, too

The Devil's Golf Course is full of hazards and would be tough if it was a real golf course. This is located on the floor of Death Valley which was the former Lake Manly which evaporated and is now the Badwater Basin. The salt and other minerals deposited in the lake have now formed an eerie rough texture in the... More

It's nothing like anything I've ever seen before! I was filled with awe ever since I laid my eyes on the devil's golf course. Whoever named it gets the first prize for their sense of humor 😀

Definitely plan for a stop here. Shouldn't take more than 15-30 mins here. Very unique rock formations. You are free to walk around anywhere. Be careful while walking on them. Wear sturdy shoes. This is one of my Do Not Miss spots in Death Valley - Dante's View, Badwater basin, Zabriskie point, Devil's Golf Course and Mesquite Sand Dunes.

To me this is one of those not to miss things in Death Valley!! Very interesting. The road to it is AWEFUL....the worst ever!! Why can't the park service grade it?? Hubby called it quite Devilish!! Be careful when walking out on the "course"...can be a little dangerous. Definitely do not miss!!!

This doesn't look much from a distance, but the ground formations are amazing and the vastness of the area has to be seen to be believed

we spent an hour here last week - no hike needed but drive on paved off road for a mile or so, drive doable in any car (check road conditions first) - salt formations are awesome, not to be missed - gr8 photo opportunities - will go again,
