We recently visited Death Valley and the whole thing was spectacular. Zabriskie Point had some of the most beautiful natural desert scenery we've ever seen. The dunes are amazing, the various colors of the rock formations were beautiful. We got lots of great pictures. There...More

Beautiful area - well worth getting up early for. It can be a crowded area if seen in peak season. Its a very easy hike up to the view point and there are areas to hike if you're up for more. One of the highlights...More

Most popular viewpoint in the park probably because of its accessibility. It is indeed beautiful but I think our expectations were higher. Still worth visiting.

With parking right at the base of Zabriskie Point this is a great place to visit as you pass through Death Valley. Stunning views and only takes 5 minutes or so to walk from the car to the top. You won't want to be out...More

It is very beautiful. We went there to see sun rise early in the morning, it was beautiful. But I think sunset might be better appropriated there. I guess it's one of the highlights of Death Valley. Don't miss it. It's very close to visitors...More

Zabriskie Point offer a spectacular view of the many different colors offered in Death Valley. With the high temperatures and inclined walkway it takes a little stamina to see the beauty. It is well worth the effort.

We came here at sunrise and it is great to see the colors change and all come into view. It is quite busy and lots of cameras set up, but worth it.

My husband and I would like to visit Death Valley from 13 - 16th February, 2017. We will be driving a hired car (so no snow tyres and no chains allowed) Can the roads be snow covered? What areas of sight seeing are on cleared roads? We would love to see desert scenery with snow covered mountains. We are in our 70's and this is our only opportunity so any useful advice to make the most of our visit will be appreciated.

Usually the only snow you'll find in Death Valley area are on the high peaks. Therefore, most of Death Valley roads are accessible during winter months. You will see dessert scenery with snow covered mountains. I highly... More
Hi, we are going to visit Death Valley and also Zabriskie Point this August. Of course I´ve looked at the National Park Service safety tips, but I´d also like to hear from travellers, how deserted the roads to these attractions are - I´ve read that cell phones don´t work in much of the park, so what are your tips to stay safe? Thanks.
