The sights here are very different than other places in the park, much more like the Badlands in South Dakota. It was 127 degrees when we were there, but we still trekked up the hill to the viewpoint to take in the sights. Beautiful!

Get there early and watch the sun rise over the valley. As the sun gets higher in the sky the sharks tooth starts to light up a beautiful golden color. Hang around after sunrise and watch the canyon below you become a palate of shadows...More

Short walk from car park. Interesting view. Nice place for sunset. See it as the last point if you drive direction Las Vegas as close to exit from the national park.

This hike is a shorter one off the main road, and interesting to boot. Don't miss it! It's worth the stop!

Went for sunrise from our Ranch night stop. It was unbelievably peaceful and serene! The colours of the desert change with every minute prior to the sun becoming visage from the east. A must do if you can!

Walked to the point Saw sand. Then more sand. Scattered rocks but tells the story of an unforgiving place

Sensational parched desert landscape in ferocious 124f heat in late June. You have to experience it to appreciate it fully but it really is one of those must do's if you're in this region. The heat and glare take your breath away before you even make...More
