Something you have to see to believe! We spent about 2.5 hours walking down into the cavern, taking the self-guided tour and taking the elevator back up. The caverns were absolutely mind-boggling. The temperature is 56 degrees, but it is very humid (90 percent) so...More

One must drive 7 miles from the highway to arrive at the Visitor's Center. The sight of area below stretches for miles and is gorgeous. When you enter the center, you'll see a sign about not bringing beverages, but you can bring bottled water with...More

The visitor center was opened at 8 am, 1/2 hour before the cave opens, so it was perfect to go in to purchase general admission tickets, trade our King Palace reservation confirmation for the actual tickets. The rangers answered some of our questions. There were...More

The park and visitor center is well done, lots of parking, exhibits, restaurant, and gift shop. We took the elevators to the Big Room, great experience taking the 1 1/4 mile loop around the room. A good portion of the loop is handicap accessible. Bring...More

Yes and I would bring the wheelchair. They have a elevator you can use to go down and back up to the Big room area. It is too steep to walk down and takes about an hour. You will enjoy it. While your there the restaurant in... More

I wasn't aware of those tours. We did the complete walking tour. You enter from the outside and see parts of the cave that those who take the elevator do not. We thought that was the best.
