Nice to hike by water!

The hike is okay, the waterfall is beautiful. Mossy cave itself is interesting, but nothing like the weeping wall at Zion.

Even elderly people can take this trail. It takes just 15 minutes to get to the small waterfall on the top, even if you watch the mossy cave first. The cave is best viewed just as spring is coming, as there are some great ice formations in there to be seen. Tio: If you pass the first waterfall, 50 meters... More

You have to leave the park to get to the trailhead, but it's definitely a cool short hike that is probably worth it if you're spending an entire day at Bryce Canyon and have kids. You hike along this little river/stream up to a cave. The cave isn't very cool, but the hike is nice. The waterfall hike is better.

A nice short walk with a bit of uphill at the end to get to the waterfall. There is plenty of water in the stream to ale the warmer fall interesting and a good bridge from which to play pooh sticks. The short side walk to Mossy Cave is OK, but not wry impressive in May. Toilets at the Trailhead.

My dad and I were spending a week hiking in Bryce and Zion, and we did this on our last day. We were a bit disappointed by how short it was, but I guess it would be good for families with small kids or people who can't walk several miles to look at hoodoos. Not very crowded, nice spot for... More

We did this quick hike before we left the area. It was beautiful but so, so for the area. There is a parking lot that is large enough for rv's and a vault toilet at the trail head. The hike itself is pretty short. Only about half a mile but there are a few pretty steep climbs. The "cave" is... More

While this short hike is not nearly as impressive as the ones inside the Park, it is worth the 15 minutes to get out of the car, walk up the path and see the waterfall and Grotto.

We thought this was a dud. It was a short and easy trail but when we got to the cave, it wasn't exciting or pretty.

This is a hidden treasure. We hikes a couple of other trails in the park. But wanted to do a shorter, less strenuous one. However, we ended up spending 2-3 hours here because of how quiet it was. Not too many people do this trail. It has a beautiful stream going through it. It has a waterfall. Sand to play... More

Great hike for elementary school kids. It has nice features - stream to look for rocks, bridge, cave and windows. We loved it. Perfect before breakfast activity.
