Before visiting Bryce we hiked this trail. Mossy Cave is okay; the waterfall is better. I'd rank it an easy hike. It's scenic but not spectacular so only hike it if you have time; hikes within the park are much more scenic.
It was not crowded, the walk was not bad, the view is awesome! You could walk to a place above to see the view or you could also walk along the river area to see the waterfall. So glad we came here to do that!

This trail is called the mossy cave trail but the highlight for me was a small waterfall. I saw pictures of icicles in the cave in winter and that looked pretty amazing. I would say a fine short trail if you have some extra time...More
