This was our first trip to Bryce and we will be back to spend a week. You need some time to do the hikes, and if there in winter bring serious winter clothes.. we were a bit unprepared for the wind chill!

Thor's Hammer is a striking and distinctive feature that stands out prominently against the backdrop of other hoodoos in Bryce Canyon National Park. Impressive rock formation.

During this last summer of 2017, the wife and I spent 7 weeks traveling out west to many of the national parks... Included was Brice National Park, and I must say that as a Professional Photographer, I was very impressed... Although we spent three days here, a professional could spend many more just getting the right angle on things and... More

This rock formation is hard to miss when hiking the Navajo Trail. It is very large and you will wonder how it was formed and how it is still standing upright.

Don't miss this sight along the Navaho Trail. Amazing against grey or blue sky. Pretty easy to pick out. The het streams and clouds looked like they were emanating from the hammer the day we were there.

This 'Hammer' is hard to imagine how it was created, much less how it still stands, years after its formation! It is visible during many walks/trails/drives and one of the main things that stand out on your visit to Bryce- my favourite Canyon by far. Enjoy!

To get a good view you have to walk a distance but the rewards are great. This is an amazing sight to see. There is simply so much to take in and a great place for pictures.

Saw this pretty close on the Navaho loop. Just as with the rest of the formations at Bryce it is worth the trip!
