Both the trails were quite flat. We started from the queen's garden trail and it wasn't too hot due to the trees along the trail. It was a little steep at the final part of Navajo trail towards sunrise point, but it was going up,...More

My friends and I did this hike when we first got into Bryce Canyon. We really enjoyed it. we hiked from Sunset Point to Sunrise Point. I think it was around 2-3 miles total- go down, walk across, and elevation up. Just enough to get...More

Went on the Navajo/Queens Garden Loop hike at Bryce. GREAT hike. Down into the canyon (almost) with combination of higher altitude hike and deeper canyon hike. It was beautiful! The climb up was fairly steep with very vertical switchbacks. Just take it slow. Bring water!!!

One of my favourite and most popular hiking trail. I arrived early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise and started hiking Navajo Look at around 8:30am. Finished the entire hike, it was the hard hike with continuous steep trails. Beautiful views when you get...More

This loop begins at sunset point and ends at sunrise point. The loop is about 3 miles and has about a 550 elevation drop and gain at the beginning and end. Be prepared you will need water and sun block especially if you are doing...More

It's the most popular hike in the park - and the many travelers stand proof of that. However, I'd recommend heading down Sunrise Point to the Queen's Garden at the outset of the venture - makes the climb up Navajo a bit easier. Be sure...More

If you’re limited on time and want to experience maximum hoodoos, this loop is for you. Descend from with sunrise or sunset point and you’ll come up at the other. Plenty to see during the hike, expect it to be slightly busy.

Don't let the crowds at the rim fool you, once you make it past the switchbacks leading down into the Canyon you can feel at times as though you are all alone. Wonderful ground-level views of formations and hoodoos and a cooler, less windy climate...More

Unofrtunatly the weather wasn't great when we did it and visibility was down quite a bit. Even so we enojed the rock formations and hike but with good weather it must be really beatiful.

Queens Garden Loop is rated as the easiest hike, it maybe if you don’t have bursitis in both hips but I still made it. We actually went down the trail at Thors Hammer and made the loop back up to Queens Garden. I have a...More

Hi! Start from Sunset Point, if you come the other way you'll get the steepest part going upwards. You will need water and some snacks and there are nice places to sit down for a while. You will find that you stop in many... More

Hi Dominique - the Fairyland loop is much quieter and a good length hike, although I think the views are better if you take the Queen's Garden / Navajo trails PLUS detour via the Peek-a-Boo loop (this will add about three or... More

There's a hike along the rim, but the best view is to go down into the canyon and unfortunately back up. If you start by Sunset Point, the way down is steeper than the way up. I am 46, in mediocre shape and from flat low... More
