I'm an avid backpacker and I enjoyed this trail. Left early in the morning so I didn't see anybody until I was almost finished. Felt like I was in a different world. Was great!

I spent a week at Bryce recently and did this trail twice, so much I liked it. My recommendation would be to start early in the morning to avoid the crowds and the heat. The trail is fantastic. Awesome views of the hooddos.

We hiked the Navajo / Queen's Garden Loop, Peekaboo loop, and Fairyland Loop in June 2017. The Fairyland Loop was our second favorite after the Navajo / Queen's Garden Loop. One of the best parts of the trail is that is much less crowded than...More

This was a great 8-mile loop that took us through some amazing scenery while we visited Bryce Canyon. The hoodoos, mesas, and trees were, as the trail name suggests, like something out of a fairy tale. As I kept saying throughout our trip, having lived...More

We started this hike at Sunrise point, just after the sun had risen (slight fail on our parts...but we hit snooze one too many times). From this point, you start with a gorgeous view of the amphitheater and think "well, how can this get any...More

What a beautiful view. We were leaving Bryce Canyon and saw the sign on our way out. So glad we stopped for a short hike. Other overlooks and viewpoints were incredibly busy. No so at Fairyland Canyon. We had the place to ourselves. What a...More

We went down fairyland point and ended at sunrise point. The temp was in the 50s-60s. Beautiful hike.

You can easily drive here from the main road, just before entering the park. Signs all the way, and it's just a 3 minute drive from the main road. Beautiful views and not crowded, as it is outside the main park.

This is one of the best viewpoints , and right outside of the park. The HOODOOS are magnificent. Parking is at a premium so go early or late in the day.

Many people skip by this special place. It's just before you enter Bryce National Park. Never crowed and just as beautiful as other points of interest in the park. Try to visit, it's special!

This Tower Bridge 3 mile version of this hike sounds good because our time is limited. Is this portion of the Fairyland Loop mostly looking down at the hoodoos or are you down in the middle of the hoodoos seeing them up close? Where exactly did you start? and will it be obvious which direction we should go or is there a choice (clockwise or counter clockwise)? Did you get to the China Wall? Thanks!

Hello! The Tower Bridge hike is extremely strenuous, and you barely get to see much of the hoodoos. I would recommend a small portion of the Rim Trail that begins at the parking lot at Fairyland Point.
