This was a short, easy trail on a boardwalk that you may want to stop at for a few minutes if you have the time....I always like to see and experience everything I can in a given location whether is just okay or fabulous.

Although we were more interested in the beautiful views then dinosaurs, all 6 of us really enjoyed this walk. We all learned something too. We saw a rabbit as well. Washrooms nearby were handy but not clean. Trail across the street was neat too.

This is a short easy trail on a boardwalk. It is worthwhile to attend the ranger talk offered just after lunch. Worth a stop.

This hike had a nice surface and informative boards to read but we didn't see any actual fossils. I probably wouldn't do this again. We heard a ranger talk about fossils and it was very interesting!

We stopped here, obviously to see some Fossils. That is what we did not see. It was crowded, there are pit toilets, there is a developed walkway, but it was mostly where fossils used to be found, and not where they currently are. The displays...More

This is a place where the rangers would provide the necessary information related to the fossils found the vicinity. A lot of useful information is provided. Also replicas of the fossils are present which can be inspected and rangers will give details. It would be...More

Not a lot of brush here, so it is a pretty safe place to allow kids to clamber around the hills of the Badlands. You can also learn about the fossils in the area from the boardwalk.
