I was pleasantly surprised on how many awesome arches there are in this park. It is worth noting that if you don't want to take the hike to Delicate Arch, there are still many arches that are worth visiting with easy hikes. The Landscape Arch is one of them. As a bonus, the Landscape Arch is not crowded because most of the people hike to the Delicate Arch.

We chose to drive to the back of Arches National Park to the Devils Garden Trailhead area after entering early in the morning. This area has a large parking lot and we were easily able to get a spot. When we started hiking the weather was cool but it warmed up quickly as there is not much shade on the trail to Delicate Arch. The hike is relatively short, well maintained and a very popular route. You can’t get too close but it was certainly worth seeing this highlight of the park.

This arch can be viewed through a partial or full hike of the Devil's Garden Trail at the far end or Arches National Park. If you do the partial its roughly a mile in and a mile back for a two mile round trip. We hiked this in the evening and there were certainly areas of shade to go along with the stunning canyon views along the trial. Small wildlife can be seen along the trial. The trail travels through several fins which are interesting in and of themselves and little bit different from the typical rock formations in the park. There are some area of steep elevation gain but they are short. The trail itself is well groomed and wide - it is also well travelled and solace at least up to
Landscape Arch will be rare. There are pit toilets at the trailhead. If you have time go and view this very fragile arch - it may gone if wait too long.

Just do it!
So gorgeous and an easy hike too. But then stay and do more if you can!
(you will need proper shoes though).
Totally worth the stop especially if you decide to visit other arches from this trailhead parking lot.
I got here very early in the morning (it wasn't actually morning yet). 3 other cars in the lot and darkness all around. My group got our stuff together by the time it was almost light and we headed out with no one else around. It was pretty cool having the place to ourselves. We did pass the other early am hikers later on and saw quite a few groups but that was only when we were leaving.

Landscape Arch is impressive and is well worth the mile hike from the Devil’s Garden Trailhead parking lot. It’s not really a hike just a pleasant stroll. Just take water. It’s a desert and can get hot. We elected to go to the Landscape, Pine Tree and Tunnel Arches. These are on the same easy loop. More ambitious hikers can go further on the primitive trail but we elected to wimp out.

This is one of the most fragile arches in the park and as such you can't actually get to it, but the trail leads you along the sand to a perfect viewpoint where the arch is highlighted by the blue sky behind it.
It's a half hour walk from the Devil's Garden park but well worth it. You can go beyond and up the hill but in the increasing heat and with other attractions in the Park to see, we didn't venture on.

Delicate and Landscape Arches make up the two most popular and visited in the park.
Not quite a 2 mile round trip hike, the trail is not difficult ... some spots are sandy and rocky but overall not bad.
It will be crowded but there are multiple viewing areas bounded by wooden rail fencing
Add it to your list ... Access Landscape Arch at the Devils Garden Trailhead which is at the far back end of the park and about a 30 minute drive from the entrance

Probably my second-favorite arch (following the iconic Delicate arch) in the Park. It is a lengthy slim one and very photogenic. You have to start at the Devils Garden trailhead, and is about one mile long (each way). Easy hike with little elevation change.

This is my 2nd favorite site in Arches after Delicate Arch. It is so cool to see this long, narrow arch that is longer than a football field. And it's an easy hike that is not far from the Devils Garden trailhead.

This Arch is in Devil's Garden. It is a bit longer hike than some of the other Arches. It looks older and more weathered with a smaller arch nearby. If you are prepared, you can hike futher past to see additional arches. We turned around as it was our second day of hiking and scrambling and adding 2 miles to the hike wasn't appealing at the time. We did see a deer close to the path and the scenery was breathtaking. It is windy with sand. A good sun hat will protect you from the sand as well as the sun.

Does anybody know if is possible to walk the Landscape Arch Trail after sunset or is it dangerous or difficult?

Planning on arriving in about two weeks, can you ride bicycles on the trails? Or, can you travel only by foot?

It may be hard to do bike. I’m actually unsure if you can bike. Everyone I saw were hiking.

I will be driving into Arches Nat Park probably in the morning of 1 September. We are not game for any major hike but only when necessary to visit "must see" attractions. What is the best or recommended driving route to take within the park to cover the important sites if we start early in the morning and allow 4 hours (and/or whole day) at the park?

I'd stop at Park Ave view point, then wander around Balanced Rovk and head onto Windows and Double Arch. Next down to Devil's Garden for stroll to Landscape via Tunnel and Pine Tree.
Head back but detour to Delicate Arch taking the easy route.
It's amazing - have a great trip!
