Escot is known as the Natural Place for good reason. In the 220 acres of parkland, threatened native species such as the iconic red squirrel and the secretive water vole have found sanctuary in surroundings steeped in history and filled with beautiful plants and champion trees. Meet Escot’s family of otters, wild boar and the stunning birds of prey. There’s woodland to explore, wetlands to navigate, a maze to solve and so much more.

Although not frequent visitors, we do agree with the latest poor reviews for Escot. The attraction has definitely gone downhill during the past year. The advertised wolves are still in quarantine and cannot be viewed; very few animals to be seen; indoor play area dirty and tired with broken netting; similar situation to be found at outdoor rope area with... Do not believe the other reviews. Animals all looked sad and were in poor conditions. Did not understand the Termite Pavilion - no termites just weird noises from loudspeakers.. . Zip line missing a zip. Four ferns in the Fernery!!!! Definitely need to up their game - nothing like as good as the sister park in the New Forest.

We went here with some friends from USA. They had twins aged 5 and we took our kids 10, 12 & 14. They all got something out of it and a good day was had by all. We watched the falconry display whilst eating our picnic lunch. We then walked around and played on the various play areas. There was... More

We arrived having paid for our 18 year to say that no dogs were allowed. They had a note on their door but for people that only go once a year we felt very discriminated. It is a great place for all the family which is why we wanted to go again. Disappointed.

Came here some four years ago but returning with my grandchildren was a BIG mistake. What a change ..... all run down, litter in the restaurant courtyard. Empty bird cages and those with occupants were unlabeled so we had no idea what we'd seen ..... guinea pig area devoid of guinea pigs .... no staff, no hand washing facilities, soft... More

I have just got home from a trip to Wildwood Escot with my 5 year old Grandson. I have been many times in the past and was a member when it was just called Escot. Now I am seriously considering never going again. My Grandson's favourite bit has always been the playbarn and I have always felt it was a... More

Wildlwood is found in the Escot estate which is a lovely parkland area. I did find it hard to find as there were no Wildwood signs as yet. I took my two granddaughters, aged 9 and 13 and they both loved this attraction, my youngest granddaughter actually said she would love to get married at Escot. Wildwood has so much... More

This used to be a lovely family day out with a play barn, pirate ship and picnic areas and the best was that the dog could be included. Since Wildwood took over the park looks tired and unkempt and now there is a ban on dogs. The highlight of our trip was always the Bird of Prey display with the... More

Dear barryt41 Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback to us and I am sorry you are disappointed with the changes to the park. Unfortunately, due to the growing collection of animals to Wildwood Escot, a restriction on access for dogs is imperative. This is for the health and well-being of our enclosed animals – they can... Our group consisted of four adults, three OAPs and three grandchildren. Having travelled from the Midlands for a few days away to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday and a 9th birthday for one of our grandsons we found that the half-term holiday in Devon had already happened and that all local attractions had closed down in the area except for... Wild wood could be a gem of a place but sadly it very down trodden. We love walking through the woods, We expect the walkways to have fallen leaves and to deal with thick mud, it is the outdoors after all. But what I won't except is the lack of investment in the facilities. Please could the owners have a... More
