High energy coastline with lots to offer for geography fieldwork. Numerous safe access points down to the coast Caves, arches, stacks, blowholes, geos, cliffs, wave-cut platforms, beaches, headlands, wave-cut notches, rockfalls etc.!

This is a lovely 4 mile round trip from West Kirby. Good footwear recommended, although we did see people walking barefoot. Definitely check the tide times before setting off! The island is quiet and pretty (and windy) with plenty of wildflowers, birds and even seals.

I really don't think so. There are parts which are quite difficult to traverse across slippery rocks etc.
