Natural beauty! Picturesque walks along the cove and durdle door. The walk is fairly steep but well worth it. Parking can be expensive we parked in a nearby village for free and enjoyed the short walk in. In Lulworth there are facilities for visitors toilets, places to eat etc.

Absolutely breathtaking. Steep walk but absolutely worth it. Good shoes are needed. You can either go from lulworth to durdle door or otherwise round. But Lulworth have more cafes and walk up to Durdle door is slopy but can be hard for some. But the scenery is beautiful so whichever direction you go take a moment to take in the... More

This Jurasic Coast highlight contains an arch over the water, high cliffs and scenic views of the coast. It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot above down to the water, but you'll find it's worth the effort.

Lulworth Cove is a beautiful cove on the Dorset coastline with a mile and a half walk along the cliff to the spectacular natural Durdle Door. For the less fit, drive out of the car park at the cove, up the hill and follow the signed left turn to Durdle Door, taking another left turn into the Durdle Door campsite.... More

We were staying in Bournemouth, a forty minute drive away, so I wanted to revisit as I caravanned here about 10 years ago and have not forgotten the breath taking beauty of Durdle Door. The parking was a flat rate of £4 and you could pay by card. There were very clean toilet huts for the day trippers to use.... More

The long steep walk up to Durdle Door is a bonus for gym enthusiasts like me. I went on a baking hot day and plenty of water and snacks are needed! The views when you finally get to the top are amazing and the formation itself is beautiful. the beach was perfectly clean and actually pretty quiet considering the world... More

There is no doubt that this area of England is one of the most picturesque and geologically interesting. You can park at Durdle Door and then walk down to the scenic overlook and if you want then walk even further, to the beach. If you are a photographer the best time to come is early morning to catch the sunrise.... More
