What a great place to visit this weekend. We stopped at Lulworth Cove and did the walk over to Durdle Door and back. There are a couple of steep climbs which can be quite demanding so be warned. The views are spectacular and as it was a sunny day with blue skies it made the experience that little bit better.... More

We only had time to visit Durdle Door on the day of our visit so my review only applies to that section. Parked in the car park, stupidly didn't have enough coins, went to Reception to see if I could change a note but Reception closed. Managed to find a machine that took card payments and problem sorted. Parking not... More

The view was amazing! Travelled from London to Wool station and took the cab to Durdle Door as suggested by the driver, as we would be going downhill to Lulworth Cove, instead of climbing uphill if we start from Lulworth Cove. One way cab from Wool train station to Durdle Door costed us £16. Make sure you wear suitable trainers/boots... More

Parked at lulworth cove and then walked up the Hill to Durdle Door. Perfect weather and the people we met we helpful and friendly. The decent and climb is steep once you get to the other side at durdle door but the views and the silence (if you go early morning) is worth it. Utterly breathtaking just wish wed had... More

Durdle Door and the surrounding coast line are beautiful natural landmarks that I certainly wish to visit again come summer. We arrived at 5pm hoping to get some nice sunset photographs. I checked online prior to arriving and saw no closing times as such, until we arrived to the car park. The car park was very confusing, with signs next... More

A bit of a hike but worth it for the views and the beach. We used tripods and drones to film around the arches and on the beach. Great views and choice of walking on the headland, or using the stairs to get on to the beach.

Stunning worth a visit. Bit of a climb though. Parking available, which we eventually found when you realise you have to drive through a campsite to get there.

This place never fails to impress and take your breath away and that's just the walk.. it's not for the faint hearted but you can take your time or cheat a little if you park in Durdle Door and walk down gently. For the more adventurous park at Lulworth cove and do the big mile. Have fun.

Parking close to the cliffs. Wonderful walk down to durdle door. Fascinating also at windy weather. Many birds to watch.

Approached through the private caravan park, the car park for Durdle Door is generous and marked with spaces for those with special needs cars. There is a pay and display meter that operates all the year round. (Disgraceful greed - should be free parking in winter.) Heavy shoes needed and change of shoes when returning to car to cope with...
