Pretty lighthouse (you cannot go inside) in a stunning location. Allow time to walk around the pasture surrounding the lighthouse to see views off of the cliffs and watch the sea birds. Restaurant has nice, reasonably priced, homemade desserts that make a lovely snack.

The lighthouse is cute, but the views of the ocean and, the sea stack right behind the light house are absolutely gorgeous. Worth the ferry-ride and the drive, just for the photo op

The sea scapes make this visit. The lighthouse itself is nothing special but you can spend a lot of time exploring and photographing the coastline.

I think this place should be opened earlier than 11:00am if its called a coffee shop. People usually tend to want a coffee in the morning. When we got there at 10:00 am there was at least 25 potential customers around. I don't think this...More

A two minute drive from the Bell Island Mines. A good little spot to take some very scenic pictures.

The lighthouse keeper let us go up to the top for a look out, even though ther's no official open access. The little cafe was surprisingly excellent - each of the dishes we ordered (chili, BLT, cabbage rolls) was freshly made and delicious. (Plus Elvis...More

Yes, there are. Mostly on the sides of buildings showing the history of the island. Things are rather spaced out and hilly, def need a car to get around.

hi jennifer, i believe the tour goes all year round. As long as the ferry can cross over to Bell Island. Hope this helps. You can always check out Bell Island on their facebook page 😊
